Aaron Cook

Fire Investigator

Biography

Aaron joined our IC Specialty Services team in 2023 with over 14 years of experience in public safety and investigations.  His extensive experience includes firefighting, arson and bomb investigations, and handling hazardous materials.  Aaron has served as an explosives K-9 handler, SWAT operator, and a regional fields operations incident commander.  He also has experience in hospital and clinic-based emergency medicine and served in the United States Air Force. Aaron is a Certified Fire Investigator Technician (IAAI-FIT) with motor vehicle endorsements IAAI-FIT(V) and a former Certified US Public Safety Bomb Technician (PSBT).  He is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators and International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators and the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters.  Aaron has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah and an Associates of Science from Salt Lake Community College.
